ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A home invasion early Friday morning in Altamonte Springs ended with an officer opening fire and a man in custody, according to police.Officers responded to a home in the 500 block of Northbridge Drive just before 6 a.m., according to investigators.[TRENDING: Become a News 6 Insider]Police said a man with a weapon forced his way into a home. At some point after police arrived on scene, one officer opened fire; however, no one was hurt and investigators have not said why the officer pulled the trigger.
